These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Stepping Out Performing Arts Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By enrolling in our classes or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Approved Brand name variations: Stepping Out, Stepping Out Studio, and SOPAS are used interchangeably for Stepping Out Performing Arts Studio, our brand name.
1. Registration and Enrollment
- Eligibility: Classes are available for students aged 3 to adult. For minors, a parent/guardian must complete registration and agree to these Terms on their behalf.
- Fees: All fees for classes must be paid as outlined during registration. Late payments may incur additional fees.
- Cancellations: Refunds for cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy when you enroll.
2. Code of Conduct
- All students must follow the studio’s rules, respect instructors and peers, and behave appropriately in classes.
- Disruptive behavior or failure to follow safety instructions may result in dismissal from the studio, with or without refund, depending on the circumstances.
3. A2P Messaging and Communication
- By enrolling in our services, you agree to receive important communications regarding class schedules, studio updates, or emergency alerts via email, SMS, or push notifications.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying “STOP” to our messages or contacting us directly.
- Text / SMS: If you choose to opt-in to SMS communications from Stepping Out, you will receive text messages at the mobile number you provide. These messages might be automated and might include promotional offers, coupons, and/or information related to Stepping Out, as well as information pertaining to your student, classes, events, and account.
- Consent to Receive Automated Messages: You understand that consent to receive automated messages is not a condition of purchasing or using Stepping Out Services and the website. Messages may include, but are not limited to, updates, order information, account information, and special offers.
- Frequency of Messages: Message frequency may vary based on your account activity, enrollment, and ongoing promotions. You will receive messages relevant to your enrollment, transactions, updates, and occasional promotions.
- Opt-Out and Support Options: You may opt out of receiving the messages anytime by texting “STOP.” Upon receipt of your opt-out request, you will be unsubscribed and will no longer receive text messages from us. However, for operational purposes, your name and mobile number may be shared with our service providers who assist in the delivery of our SMS communications. These providers use your personal information solely to carry out the services they provide to Stepping Out.
4. Liability Waiver
- By enrolling, you acknowledge that dance instruction involves physical activity and inherent risks. You agree to release and hold harmless Stepping Out Performing Arts Studio, its instructors, and employees from any liability for personal injury, accidents, or loss of property.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website and in our classes (videos, choreography, etc.) remains the property of Stepping Out Performing Arts Studio. You may not copy, distribute, or use our materials without written consent.
6. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate a student’s enrollment for violation of these Terms or inappropriate behavior. In such cases, refunds may be handled according to our refund policy.
